Well, it's pouring down rain here and lightning and I haven't been to the gym "officially" for 3 weeks today.  But I'm not going to let the rain stop me.

Funny, I'm looking at a shot of Macy's on GMA this morning and I was just there last week!  I've got one  more final this morning and then I'm done.  Yay!  Yippie! Yay!

And, I do feel much better.  I'm coughing, but at least I can breath better now.

So, I'm off to the gym, and I'm going to get through this 3 week vacation this morning!

Will you move to lose today?  Tell us all about it.

ETA: I managed 30 minutes on the elliptical at a moderate speed but my coughing and breathing was a little difficult so I didn't pu****  I was so excited though to go weigh.  I'm down 8 pounds to 235!!!  That was a good trip for me to NYC!  Send me back again!

I went to the gym last night. I plan to go again tomorrow. Tonight I have something I have to go to for my nieces.

Last night I did a walk/run on the treadmill and lemme just say that I think it's time to buy a sports bra before I knock myself out.

Also, I did the Treadclimber and holy mother that was a workout. That machine is something else.

I laughed out loud at the sports bra comment.  I know what you mean, but mine are more like tennis balls!

We don't have a treadcliimber @  our YMCA but I'd love to try one out.  I'm going to ask them to consider purchasing one.  With all the stairs in NYC, I think I'm ready for it.

WTG on the workout!

the treadclimber is murder!!! I love it, I love how warm I get, but its super hard on the legs. I can only do about 25min max.

I'm going to continue with my goal of working out every single day for the rest of Dec. This is something like Day 8 in a row. I'll do the treadclimber - aiming for 30min at 2.0mph and some weights. I did arms and abs yesterday and my legs will be crying, but I'll probably do some legs and back work, and abs again.

I think I need to go find one of those to see how it is. I've heard it's like walking through sand.  I know you say the scale isn't budging, but I was happy to hear your pants are getting loose!  Keep up the good work!

Have a happy Wednesday.

Its an odd motion, not exactly like walking through sand, sort of like hiking. It takes a little time to get used to and really makes the top of my hips burn in back - which I think is good because when the muscles in that spot get tight I get some sciatica, and a lot of tingling. The treadmill sometimes makes it worse but this machine seems to be making it better. I also think its easier than the elliptical because my feet don't go numb and the movement seems less akward and easier on the knees. I can still only do about 10 min on the elliptical before I get physically uncomfortable. Its not so much that I am too out of shape for the elliptical, its more that I am just too short for it I think.

I really do like it, but our gym only has one and my husband and I fight over it :)

And finally the scale budged - it'd been mostly at 255 lately, and yesterday I was back to 253, and today I was at 251. Come on 249! They say if you are still losing inches its not a plateau, but I was really starting to worry that it might be. I am taking Kellie's advice and upping the exercise. It *seems* to be helping.
