Monday at the Gym

I didn't see a post for the gym today, so I thought I'd add one for those who want to post their workout. 

I was supposed to teach aquafit tonight, but because the pool had the annual maintenance and cleaning over the long weekend, and the chemical levels were off due to the acid and cholorine shock, the pool was closed.  Hopefully it will reopen in the morning.

I did 1 hr in the gym - 30 minutes on the bike in fat burn mode, and 30 minutes of weight training.  I need to keep working my legs - they are my weakest link!

Tomorrow, I plan to go to the power walking group that gave me shin splints 2 weeks ago, and go to the morning aquafit class. 

Also, I spent the day on my feet at my quilting machine.  I've got 3 quilts to "long arm" style quilt this week.  I don't have a real long arm, but a set up that allows me to use a traditional machine in that type of way.

Yay!  Glad to see it's still going!

Well, for all my good intentions of wanting to workout while we were here, it's just not going to happen.  Walking to the 3rd floor 2-3 times a day and up and down all the subway stairs, I imagine I'm walking 25-30 flights of stairs a day.  I counted to 18 yesterday but lost track because I had my boots on and my feet were killing me.

Walking, walking, walking.  That's all I'm doing.
