Wow news

I just got a call from Dr Katzen's office (he's a plastic surgeon that specializes in WL patients) I had a consult with him at the OH conference in LA. Anyway ... insurance approved everything! Lower body lift and breast reduction. WOW!

I don't know if I'm happy, sad, confused or what? I'm feeling all sorts of things right now.

There is no way possible I can take time for myself right now with Mom sick

I'm keeping this on the back burner and letting it simmer for now.

Wow! How awesome.. I hope to be there some day and get an approval too.

Even if you can't act on it now - rejoice in the good news.  Somethings go right in the world and this is one of them.  Congratulations to you!!!

Hi, Jan!  Congrats on getting insurance approval, even if you can't have plastics right now.  At least you know your insurance should cover them when you are ready. 

As far as the mix of emotions, that's understandable given everything that's going on in your life.  For right now, I'd encourage you to mentally "pack up" the idea of plastics, put it in a box on a shelf in your mental closet, and let it rest there until you are ready and able to deal with it.  It'll be there waiting patiently for you when you are ready...  All things in due course, my friend -

Glad to hear insurance will cover the plastics.  I really liked Dr. Katzen, he seemed very genuine!!! 

I can totally understand not wanting to do it now with your mom being sick.  Just remember insurance can change, so you don't want to wait too long!!!

 WOW Jan!  That is great news!  I consulted with Dr. Katzen at the end of May.  I would use him for my legs - his work looks impressive.  I would keep it on the back burner, and see what happens.

That is great! How long is your approval good for? At least it will be nice to know that you dont have to worry about it when you are ready.
