I was at TJ MAXX last week and just to see how close I was getting I tried on a 2x coudruroy jacket. IT FIT! WOW!!! I am still huge on the bottom though, I know what everyone means about the fat and skin "settling and pooling". I have a big ole' tractor trailer spare tire thing goin' on, but somehow I bypassed 3x and went directly into a 2x top! I have not been this size since college. I bought the jacket and a new dress too.

What can I do to make my tire smaller? Are there any special exercises for that area?

I think that is one of the best parts of this surgery is the shopping!  Congrates on the new size.  Feels great doesn't it?

To answer your last question...

Fat is fat, and the only exercise that will help to get rid of fat is anything that will get your heart pumping and your breathing up...walking, elliptical, aerobics.

Find out what your target heart rate is for you by using this link

http://health.msn.com/health-topics/heart-and-cardiovascular /articlepage.aspx?cp-documentid=100106068

This tool will help you to figure what your target heart rate should be.  It takes in to effect your age, your resting heart rate, and your fitness level.   Since I've been working out consistently 4-5 days a weeks for almost a year now, I've taken my resting heart rate from the mid-ninetys to mid sixties.

My target heart rate is 146-157 and it's much harder for me to get to that rate now.  It used to be so easy to get to 140...

But really, to get rid of it, it's going to need to be a heart pumping exercise for 30 minutes.  Less if you are just starting out but try to work up to that.

Congratulations!  That is so exciting.  I think I haven't been a 2X since high school.

Congrats
I have not wanted to really shop yet because I have so many sizes in my closet but I am starting to put away things that are too big and loose.  It is a great feeling.  It is great to celebrate these WOW moments.

Thanks guys!

I laughed so hard at "Ommpa Loompa from the Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory" Ahhh hahahahaaaaaaa! I look exactly the same way! I take pics standing up and I was thiking I looked OK till I caught my reflection in the mirror on the back of my door when I was sitting on my bed in my straight cut denim jumper. OH MY! Lol. It looks like I have a giant fully inflated innertube stuck around my mid section under my dress! Woah. I hope that will start to melt too if I keep moving. Target rate is a little beyond me right now. I am just happy to be walking. At the time of my operation I could only go 20 feet without sitting down. I walk pretty slow but I can do it now and that's a start.
The shoppping IS fun! I used to get all my clothes from LB or sew them at home bc/ nothing else fit me. I bought a size 24 dress for $5 last week. That's less than the shipping alone on an LB order.

I don't have anywhere nearly as much loose skin yet, but I'm nodding agreement.

I think that's why I'd read some folks say "I'm melting, melting.... "

Wouldn't it be nice if it just dripped off instead of PS?
