Dr. Fitzer was Great - XPost

I am home and doing pretty good.
My special thanks and gratitude go to my 'new' friend and help Mirielle.  I have met her twice and she has  called me every day for a week before the surgery and then long distance to Utica to the hospital and the hotel every day.  My peace of mind was definately influenced by her.
I have an infection in the site of my IV which the doctors say is like a second degree burn.  I am allergic to the tape that they used.
Inscision sites are all fine and I am already starting to lose.
Thanks also to all the people who sent me good wishes and prayers.  They worked.

Sheri, I'm so glad you're home and feeling well!! The next couple of weeks may be a little challenging but it sounds like you have support and don't forget you always have us!

Glad to hear that you are home, and if the worst war wound is from the tape, it sounds like you are doing great!

And that's not to minimise the tape issue. I react to the tape one lab tries to give me and I refuse it for that very reason. I know how awful it can be. One time I lost a few layers of skin when removing one. Yowchie!

I agree that the worst is the tape wound.  Yes many layers of skin are gone and they hurt.
