Heading to the ER
Hi guys~
I have something weird going on. It's a fluttery feeeling in my chest and rapid heartbeat. I am waiting for my Mom to get off work do she can drive me to the ER. I don't want to drive like this. I feel weird. Just stopping by to let you guys know. Wish me luck! My last Er visit got me an emergency surgery and 9 day admission...grrr. That's why I was hesitant to go again. The folks over on the MB convinced me not to wait though so I called my Surgeon's office and they aggreed. I'll stop back when I get home and fill you guys in.

Thanks for all the well wishes guys!
Chickens? Lol. What do the chickens do?
I'm back. Only took 11 hours! Everything tested Ok and they really don't know what is going on. I have an appt next week to get a heart monitor of some sort to wear around the house in case it happens again. They said it'll be for from 3 to 5 days. Anybody ever heard of that? I guess you press a button when something weird happens and it records the info. I feel absolutely fine now. I was kinda betting on low potassium but it was OK. Hummnnn...
The ER was colorful tonight! There was a drunk guy with a head wound who had to be wrestled to the ground by security. Then there was the tied to the gurney guy who screamed "G*d Dammit" ,"Heeeeeeelp" or "pleeeeeease!" every 2 to 3 minutes (for 9 hours of my stay.
Always an interesting place

Stella, your symptoms sounded a bit like a bout of a-fib I had when I had a bad cellulitis infection. Any chance you might have an infection somewhere?
ERs are interesting places, and I'm hoping they didn;t make you wait too long.
Let's hope the holter monitor finds something if there's something to find!
