The gym is open!

I have meetings all day, so I'm not sure what I'll get done in terms of exercise.  At a minimum, my plan is to walk around campus at every opportunity.  It will be the last nice Indian Summer day for the year, I believe.

My sister and I are having an election day party tonight, so that ought to be fun!

If you are a Starbucks drinker, if you tell them "I voted" today, I understand you get a free tall coffee.  Or so said the email I received from them.

What did you do to move your body today?

Good Morning Kix!

I did my civic duty during early voting so I'm ahead of the game there.... and I did 30 mins of upper body weight training this morning too!  Although I'm a coffee addict Starbucks is not my thing so I'll stick with whatever we decide to make next here at work.......

Have a great day!

I already voted - by mail. I love vote-by-mail, although I do miss seeing all my neighbors on election day!. But no long lines or waiting in the cold rain.

I'm really busy in the office too, but I'm trying something different this week - 2 telework afternoons instead of 1 whole day. That way I have to PLANNED exercise breaks in the work week. I'll update later if I got there. Go**** is so much easier for me to swim when it's HOT out.

I voted early. I also read about the Starbucks thing being "illegal" so now you just go in and ask for the coffee, don't mention voting. Shhh.

I don't know about exercise but we are going out to friends' house for an election day tonight. I'll try to get to the gym though.

Today was running day - I moved up to week 3 of my training program and I'm finally starting to get my legs back to running shape. Last week my legs felt like lead, nice to feel a little more "normal."

I voted bright and early this morning - it took 2 hours (the line went forever)! But I got er' done.

I went to the park and walked for 35 minutes at lunch.  It's a gorgeous fall day here in Cleveland - sunny and 74 degrees - and it was great to be outside.  I'll try to walk for another 15-20 minutes later this afternoon - it seems to help keep my swelling down if I walk a couple times a day.

The election party sounds like fun!  I voted early at my county board of elections office; I was concerned about how long I might have to wait if I went to my local polling place today.  I live in a community with a very high voter turnout, so we often have a long wait when it's not a presidential election.

I hope you get to enjoy this beautiful Indian Summer day!
