Off topic

I need some advice so im coming to you all.
But first i need to say if you dont have life insurance on yourself and your family get it.
Also im just coming to you all for advice and your opinons..
You know i told you about keith well he was 23 and passed.
Well went today to what was suppose to be a little get together befre the visitation.geuss what there isnt going to be a funeral..
He came from a very poor family and they have nothing but each other and they couldnt get the mo.ney together.
I came home and made some phone calls and got them some help.
But this my question my dh and i are waiting for an insurance check for the damage during hurricane ike we received.
Do i pay for the rest of his funeral or ask his family to pay half and we pay the other.after the help he got it leaves 1900.00
Im so torn i ate more than usual today stress i geuss.
He is just a second cousin but he called me aunt lisa and im really close to them all.
My heart says to do it my mind tells me no.....

His brother and i have decided he will pay half and i will pay half.
So thats it is takin care of.

Fuenerals are so expensive these days.  I'm so sorry, so sad for you and your family.

Lisa... First let me say my heart goes out to you and your entire family... Lossing someone so young is never easy. Be thankful your families are close...

I think you made the right decision.  Right now, with the economy the way it is and your having repairs that need to be done, I know that was tough.   However, you and your husband made a selfless decision to help with the expenses that will help you with your loss.

Its all taken care of but i never knew how much things cost.
It puts things in order and now maybe the rest of the family will get prepared so no else will have to go through this.
