Gym is Open (Feverish Friday) 10/24
Those of you who work in veal pen environments know what it's like when someone gets sick. Lucky for me
, someone in my veal pen section brought in some sort of hantavirus from her kids, who caught it at school. Two colleagues got sick and this morning at work, snot began pouring out of my nose like an open spigot and I have hot, tired eyeballs. I don't feel like hot death, so I'm not ruling out allergies. On the other hand, I feel like I'm teetering on the edge of the abyss, so I'm taking lots o'vitamin c along with my daily dose of zinc (in addition to my regular supplements).
No workout for me, I need to get through Friday (no sick leave yet) and then rest over the weekend.

Ah rain, rain go away, come again another day.
It rained hard all night long and it would have been a great night's sleep except for my pug and his chewing his toenails all night. Finally at 3AM I put him downstairs and locked him up.
I hit the snooze 4 times and finally made it to the Y about 30 minutes late. Needless to say, it was a quick workout. 20 minutes elliptical and 10 minutes upper body strength training.
Hope you can recooperate over the weekend!

I'm such a dum dum! When I read a previous "veal pen" post I really thought you were a veal farmer. haha.
I did 20 m on the treadmill (with one one min break in between 2, 10 min sessions) and then another 20 the same way at noon. Whew! I am gonna try to go for another 20 after dinner.
