This brace is sooo itchy and the idiots at th ER put it on backwards, as I figured out last night while trying to adjust the torture device. Hand is a little better. Typing as a lefty only is getting faster too. I have a presentation on smallpox tomoorow and haven't even started it yet. Uh oh.
Food....
B - 16oz mootopia, 1 scoop protein powder, ice
S - red grapes and some turkey
L - 2 egg omelet with ham and cheese
D - chicken breast and a pear
I'll try to post totals later, not sure if I'll stick to this plan yet so I don't want to total it up.

B - fasting
S - bran muffin, greek yoghurt, 12 black grapes
L - grilled chicken, raw veggies (celery, pea pods, broccoli)
D - Chinese takeout - 1 C steamed rice, beef under rainbow, curried chicken - hubby's Birthday
Going back to "real food", I see my capacity has diminished. Pre-MF, I would have eaten another full plate.

I almost bought them at whole foods the other day but they were so ripe they were popping in the bags and I didn't want wine, but they smelled and looked yummy. I ended up getting some red seedless grapes instead and they are too sweet. I dumped off of them so now I just have a few. And pears... oh my goodness. I am so jealous of all the great produce you get in CA year round!
Another crazy day-- yesterday I lost electricity for about 4 hours--at dinner time-- it was the end of the world, or so it seemed...but I waited it out and had to eat a bunch late-- not great but whatcha gon' do?
Today I have two meetings, four classes worth of papers to grade, I have to paint 8 drop-off dumpsters for a community service gig, have to wrestle a union member about a grievance,
have to figure out how the custodian who finally cleaned my classroom floor managed to eat all the wax off of it (looks like it was sprayed with battery acid) and I still gotta get my nails done-- they didnt have electricity last night either. And I need to walk at least a mile. And somewhere in there I have 6 classes to teach.
Good news-- the flubber didn't bother me walking so much when I wore my compression stockings, but since they are thigh highs, moving fast means that they end up around your ankles.
I'm thinking of buying black Underarmour. I get tired of walking around inside this jello bag!
Today's menu was planned to get my fat up...been too low. How do I know? Don't ask!
B: Proti-Diet Caramel Crunch Bar (let me rave again-- 15g protein, 150 cals and 6g fiber!)
L: 1 cup Asian Peanut Chicken (chicken, snow peas, water chestnuts, soy sauce, PB2)
1/2 cup Only 8 Frozen Yogurt
S: bag of Revival Soy honey mustard crisps
S: 2 oz turkey jerky and 1.2 oz sliced Vermont three year cheddar
S: 1/2 cup Only 8 Frozen Yogurt
D: Taco Salad- Taco meat and Cabot 50% cheddar on lettuce with salsa and greek yogurt
S: 1/2 cup SF jello parfait with ff whipped cream
S: 1/2 cup pumpkin cheesecake protein pudding

Ooh, variola! I love working communicable disease investigations! I hate the statisticial work that goes with epidemiology, and I could never be a scientist like our pal Dunny!
I'll never forget the day someone called our CD line to report a case of variola. We almost passed out until we discovered they meant varicella (chicken pox). Whew!
What did I eat today?
B-ish: 3 EAS protein drinks, spaced every 90 minutes starting at 5 AM.
S: 2 big azz cups o'coffee (rationed the cream today)
L: a cup of odd-looking vegetarian soup that actually tasted good, plus 3 WASA crackers
D: old, disgusting steak (I didn't know it was old and disgusting when I cooked it). I had planned to have corn with the steak. Ate the steak, knew I was in trouble, gave the corn to my sister. The steak would have made a better purse or wallet than it did an entree,. Spent the rest of the evening horking up foam and steak.
Bedtime snack: another EAS protein drink and 1 can Instone pudding
