7 am - yikes! The earliest classes at my alma mater were at 8 am. 7 is brutal, even more so if you are teaching. Have a good rest - don't forget to keep the fluids up.

Personally, I'm pooped. No telework day on Wednesday (so no swim) plus I've been walking and standing more at work this week. I'm really ready for the weekend, but to rest, not play.

B - MF scrambled eggs
S - MF shake
L - MF chicken noodle soup
S - MF chai tea
S - MF shake
D - fish of some kind and salad
S - Pudding!!!

Oh, and since this is feline Friday, here's my kitty report: Mr. Grey, my feline AIDs guy, is recovering well from the nasty abcess he got fighting. Several stitches plus antibiotics. Miss Kitty is also showing battle scars so we are now dealing with the attitude and complaints of trying to turn former indoor/outdoor kitties into indoor ones. Miss Kitty is very vocal about her displeasure.

Some kitties definitely communicate their displeasure don't they!?! Our cats are all indoors but every now and again one gets out the door by mistake (or feline sneakiness). If its Merv, he gripes incessently when he comes back in. How dare we forget about him? It really sounds like he is giving us a lecture.

Feel better soon Jenn!

I'm hurting, started dental work for 3 crowns yesterday. Knew it was bad when the dentist called to check on me last night. Thank Goodness I had some Vicodin in the house. He's calling in some pain meds for me today. He says I should expect to be sore for a while.

Do you have an Urgent Care or PCP with Saturday hours? You don't want to spend the weekend in pain.

Well I felt like it was getting better yesterday but then it hurt a lot last night. I bought a brace that holds my thumb in place and found some info about the exact pain I have. Its called De Quervain's syndrome and I'm basically 100% sure that's what it is. All I can do is wear the correct brace, consider cortisone injections (and take nsaids if I could). It should get better on its own. Its tendonitis. I will see someone on Monday but the brace does allow me at least to type comfortably so I can work.
