Grrrr. That's all I can say at the moment.

Here is my food plan

B - most of a banana, a large cup of hot tea with 1tbsp honey

S - 1 container plum lavender honey yogurt, 1 atkins cranberry granola bar

L - fiesta chicken from lean cuisine

S - 42g protein myoplex RTD shake

D - 2 egg omelet w/ 1/4c colby jack and 4 slices of hormel natural choice ham (and a small amount of canola oil to coat the pan lightly - I say 1/4T)

Calories - 1381
Protein - 109g
Fat - 47g
Carbs 137g (17 from fiber)

This is a good plan IMO - still a little carby but right in the range that I like for everything else.

Jan - I have continued to be amazed by how you can eat the same thing over and over again.  I am happy to read you are human (just joking) and do get tired of those triscuits.  I hope you find something delectible but nutritious to substitute for those tasteless treats!

B - 3/4 small apple
L - lump crab meat and smothered okra
S - 15 almonds and possibly yogurt
S - ???? family night supper at church ????

Your too funny!

Maybe I'm not human. I'm one of those weird people that can eat the same thing for months on end until I finally get really sick of it. After WLS I found homemade turkey chili sat very well and I swear I ate it daily for 4 months.

The reduced fat triscuits, all 3 of them give me the fiber to stay regular, that's how I got started on those. They are begining to get rather tasteless though.

Lucky you that you can eat apples. I'm jealous. They still don't sit well for me and I used to love them before surgery.

That's funny about the Triscuits. I was wondering if you ever got sick of them. They are good though. I've noticed after my surgery I get sick of something REALLY easily. Especially if I feel a little sick after I eat it. And if it makes me vomit (rarely anything does these days - thank God) then I NEVER want it again.

My meal plan isn't very good these days. I'm trying to wing-it too much and I'm not getting in the nutrients I need to:

B: Mootopia

L: Amy's Organic Frozen dinner - not sure which one

S: Laughing cow cheese/crackers

D: No clue, going out to dinner with my mom

I really need to start focusing on my protein and vitamins. I'm horrible about that and it's showing - I'm exhausted constantly and hungry more than I should be.

I can't decide how I feel about my food today.

B: plain bagel with a small bit of cream cheese
(two big azz mugs o'coffee)
L meeting: 2 EAS protein drinks
S: Atkins protein bar
D: 5 oz ribeye steak and tossed salad
Evil snack: 2 pumpkin cookies

I wasn't famished, so I think the EAS drinks every 1.5 to 2 hours is the way to go.  Why I ate the bagel, I'm not sure.  I was in a meeting, I hadn't eaten breakfast yet, and it was there.  It was a tasty, fresh bagel and sat OK.  It kept me full all morning, but I don't like the idea of eating carbs without protein.  I also didn't get in as much walking around our campus today.

I need to sit down this weekend and develop a routine as to how I'm going to manage my food intake and physical activity during the workday.  I don't want to wake up one morning 400 lbs fatter and realize I should have done something sooner.  Scary!

Tomorrow will be an insane day for me, I have meetings nonstop from 9-4:30 PM, and I still need to finish a limited amendment for a contract and write a post-grant award section for the RFAs that need to go out next week.  I'm trying to figure out how I can be behind in my work already when I've only worked there 1.5 weeks?

Had to laugh, I had a call from a fed agency today wanting to interview me for a gig I applied for three months ago in the EEO office.  Sorry, I'm already employed!
