Gym is Open (Indigenous Peoples Day) 10/13

Indigenous Peoples Day?  That's what they called it in Berkeley because Columbus Day is racist.  Go figure.

The gym is open.  I'm going to enjoy my first state holiday off by going to the casino in this freezing weather and gamble my brains out, woo!  My coin jar and I plan to have a good day.

I managed 15 mins on the elliptical this morning before I started wheezing too hard to continue..... I guess I really should take my meds before I get in the gym.... LOL

I have today off as well!  Thank God for state holidays!!
 
It snowed about an inch overnight!  So, I think I'll start today off by cleaning out a closet and then doing some housework, that I didn't get done over the weekend. 

I'll try to do my mile later, it kinda looks like the snow will be melting off by late afternoon!

Walked around the Marina again (my new thing) and skipped benches!!!  I am really feeling a difference now.  I think I got in about 40 min.

Start: 487 lbs (8/07) Lost 81 lbs pre op on South Beach. 406 lbs at surgery (6/08). 179 post op, by 2011. I  lost 308 lbs. Gained 98 while pregnant (2012-13) lost all but 25. My goal is to be 179 again!

I walked for about 25 minutes. I was excited because I did 3 rounds of the walking track. I figured it was about 1/2 mile each round...but I talked to someone else and they said 4 rounds=1/2 mile. Oh well guess I have something to work towards right!
