Gym is open late tonight - Wobbly Wednesday

Why wobbly? Because I got my fat self to the pool today, and now I'm tired and weak kneed. Usual side effect when I up my exercise.

Today I swam 50 lengths in 45 minutes and got done just in time before swim team started. Boy I wish I had as smooth a stroke as some of those kids do.

Who else moved their body today?

I did a very sweaty 35 minutes on the elliptical and then another 15 upper body workout.  Don't know what the difference was, but I was soaking wet when I got done!!!!!!!

Thanks for opening the gym!  I fell asleep last night before I had a chance to post, how pitiful is that?

With a Bally's located inches from my office complex, I can no longer make excuses for not resuming a more formal exercise plan (I stopped when I had sinus surgery, but I'm fully cleared for activity and still not doing it).

This morning, I left the house at 5:30 AM and went to Ballys, where I did 25 minutes of treadmill and lower body strength training.  I managed to make it through the whole day at work without falling off my perch, so we'll see how well these early AM workouts go.

I don't know how our pal Karen does this at OMG o'clock.

A few years ago I started early morning swims, which lasted about 4 months. Now I'm back to my laggardly ways and can barely stumble to my 'puter to drink my coffee. Exercising before work seems beyond my abilities just yet. The problem is that after the work day, it's way too easy to head home instead of the pool.

Good luck on your 0-dark-30 mornings.

How is your work going?
