I have a bad headache and tylenol isn't cutting it. I really wish we could take NSAIDS.
B - None yet but I think I'm gonna make husband go with me to get a breakfast taco (little bkfst burrito) with egg and cheese
L - chicken breast, small salad
D - leftover chicken from the other day (with mango and pineapple), and probably some beans
S - protein shake

Someone asked me this weekend what do I take for a headache and I responded that I take a nap. I know you can't do that and teach at the same time. Sending you good vibes to get rid of that headache. Maybe you're a little dehydrated. Bump up the fluids for the day.
B - SBD Protein Bar
L - Shrimp burrito w/o tortilla
S - deli ham and cheddar cheese rollup
D - turkey, sweet potato casserole (made w/splenda) and gravy
I cooked "Thanksgiving" dinner for my son on his last night home before he flys out to California today. Oh this so SUCKS! He ate more than I've seen him eat in a long time which made me feel really good. Everything tasted off to me but I'm sure that has to do with the surgery.
I hope your head feels better soon.

Ouch to the headache, Jenn! I've been waking up with a bit of a headache and I know, for me, it has been due to dehydration. My body seems to be waaaay more sensitive to water intake than it ever was before. BTW, you're looking stunning as usual in your new pics! Awesome, awesome, awesome!!!
B: Dannon Light&Fit yogurt
L: 1 C of cottage cheese
D: Steak & veggie
S: Protein drink, if needed.
I've been letting carbs sneak in the back door lately. For instance, this weekend I was in Denver with family. Saturday night, when the part of my family was with her in-law family at a wedding, it was just dd and me hanging out at the hotel. We went to get something to eat and it was happy hour time - I ended up eating Fritos!!! (Bad I know, but gosh were they tasty!) Everyone got back and we went to our room to watch football and visit - we ordered food up and I ate 4 oz. (1/2 of total) of a buffalo burger - with the bun and some cottage cheese. Breakfast was okay - part of an omlette and a few bites of scrambled egg and a sausage link. Lunch was at Macaroni Grill (had never been there) and ended up with an appitizer of mozzarella and tomatoes, fried calamari, and tomato brushetta (sp?) I ate WAAAAAAAAY too much and felt like a stuffed toad (ick!) For dinner I had some cottage cheese and called it a day.
So while I'm not eating as "clean" as I usually do, I'm grateful for the 3 lb. loss and I'm commited to my food plan listed above for today.
Thanks for listening!
Jana

Hi all,
I haven't posted in a few days, and I really do need to make this a regular habit. I'm six weeks out today, and I think for me that good meal planning will make the difference for me.
I got very very sick last night after eating some shrimp and scallops with sauteed vegetables (all steamed with no sauce) from a Chinese restaurant. I'm not sure what made me so sick, but I'm suspecting it's because the veggies were too "al dente" for me right now. I have learned my lesson though. I was in agony last night, and today I still feel a little shaky. So I am mostly doing liquids today. Here's the plan for now:
B - Chocolate Max Protein shake, mixed with skim milk and 1 tbls Simply Jif
L - Syntha-6 strawberry milkshake protein shake
D - Depends on how I feel. Either something easy to eat like fish, or another protein shake.
S - cottage cheese, if I feel like I need a snack, and if I feel up to eating it
I'm hoping this will make my grouchy pouch feel better!

Chinese food bothered me a lot for at least the first 4-5 months. Even plain with just a little soy sauce it never sat well. I don't know why. Shrimp and scallops can be kind of rubbery and hard to digest, and veggies definitely need to be well cooked early out. Live and learn, it gets easier.
