I packed way too much.  I didn't want to read at all so you may want to reconsider that.   but it looks like a pretty complete list.  The only other thing that I could suggest is your own washcloth because your mouth is going to get extremely dry until you have your leak test and I was just weird about using the hospital wash cloth to wet my mouth.

First of all good luck and best wishes to you.  You will be in my prayers for an "uneventful" surgery.

Take your measurements and record them along with your picture.  The recording of the measurements were something that I am so sorry that I didn't do.

You will probably not need some of the items that you listed but sometimes it is more of security blanket ot have the stuff with you.  I took nothing and needed nothing as if I wasn't sleeping they had me walking around.  I used the phone in the hospital so that I didn't have to worry about my cell or the charger.

The one thing that I am so sorry I didn't take was a small fan.  It was hot as hell in my room and my room mate was a 2 lb skinny thing that was always cold.  I made the hospital dig me up a fan and of course it was one of those industrial size jobbies that would have blown all 400 lbs of me out the window.  I had to stay in the hosptial for 3 days because of having open surgery.  Two of those days were very hot.

Again, best of luck.  Make room on the bench for our new "loser".

Best wishes!  From what I hear, before you know it you will be home and recovering!

Your list sounds great.  I wore the same clothes home as I wore in to the hospital.  I also wore sturdy slip on shoes instead of bringing slippers, because I needed support for walking.  That also made an outfit and one less pair of shoes to pack.  I am excited for you and your journey.  I will pray for a speedy recovery.  Loris

Your list looks wonderful - about the same as mine is for next month.

Best of luck for an easy recovery.
