130 LOST FOREVER!!!!!!
I am seeing a glimmer of someone in the mirror now. Not quiet sure what to think but I am starting to re connect with myself and the weight loss. Today when I went to Wall mart and used one of their electric carts when I sat on it. Well lets just say it my tummy was over a foot away from the steering wheel on it. My tummy us to be so big I could hardly tun the cart because my tummy us to overlap the wheel. As well today When I got in my car I was able to put my car seat up one more notch. I can actually fully touch the pedals now without using the tips of my toes. As well as the tummy no longer presses on the wheel while I am driving. 3 "biggies" today for me. As well as at a weight of 333 today. Considering I started at 463 5 months ago I guess things are going pretty well on this subject. Yes that is 130 lost forever!!!!! I still hate the short hair but I will get over it. When i saw that 333 today it kinda hit a strong cord for me inside somehow. Today I went in the Jacquie in a pair of shorts and a sports bra WOW those are wonderful things. SOHO much easier to ware. Especially considering that the bra's I us to wear no longer fit and the new one I bought is Way to big now.I find sports bras are in expensive and nicer to wears.
I love those wow moments. I'm so happy for you. It does seem to take awhile for some of us to really feel the difference. But once it does - boom! I'm at 254 now for the first tiime since God knows when, and a few weeks back I put my hands on my hips and kinda thought something was wrong because it felt hard. I was truly concerned for a few minutes. In reality, it was the top of my hip bones that I felt, not some sort of mass. Boy, did I feel stupid once I figured it out, but I got a laugh out of it.
Congrats to you and keep up the great work.

That's fantastic! I'm about 6 weeks behind you and started about the same weight. Some days I feel really great about the weight loss and other days I seem to only focus on how far I have yet to go (I weigh 366 now). You're really an inspiration and this is a great reminder about the really great things that have changed. I know what you mean about the tummy pressing against the steering wheel - it's one of my favorite reminders each time that I drive my car. Keep up the great work!
Great job, Kathy!!!!! I'm beyond thrilled for you - it's been a difficult road for you with some obstacles and set backs, but you've overcome them so well and with beautiful smile!
I identify with the steering wheel situation. When I stopped hitting the steering wheel, I was like "WOW!" - then after a few more months I realized I needed to scoot up my seat (duh!) - I think I've always driven with the seat all the way back!
Any news on what might be happening health wise for you? Did you make it to Denver last week to see the doctors? Been thinking of you and hoping all is going well.
Good to hear from you!
Take Care,
Jana
