My Baby is Leaving Me!
I just found out that MY BABY IS LEAVING FOR CALIFORNIA ON MONDAY. I'll be in mourning for a little bit and then we'll probably go to happy hour to celebrate. He's my only child (just turned 20 on Tuesday) and it's kinda weird that he'll be across the united states in Hollywood.
My eyes are welling up with hot tears right now as I type this. But he's such an inconsiderate butt head that the irritation from the lack of concern for others, the pig styes and his eating my WLS foods may be a welcome brea****il it hits me how much I miss him. Oh, I'm going to need your prayers next week to get through it.

I guess I must be the archetypical evil step mother. I can't wait to get my last one out on his own....
I know that letting go is hard, but think of all the great adventures he's going to have! What is he planning on doing? Trying to break into the entertainment biz?

Oh, it's mixed feelings. I hate his messes and attitude and just general lack of concern for everything, but he's my baby and I'll still miss him.
DH and I were out like a couple of newlyweds last weekend and it was fun. Testing the waters of not having a child around the house. There will be other fun and exciting opportunitites at home if you know what I mean!
He's going out for modeling. He'll be staying at a "model's stable" is what I call it. He's an only child and it will be interesting to see how he gets along living with other boys his age. I'm glad I'm not the house mother in that situation!
