Hello there, I'm two weeks out.  I'm not sure of your post op diet, but my first week was just liquids, so there wasn't much standing on my feet cooking anything.   I have just started cream of wheat and I found an instant kind, also instant potatoes, so it takes little to make.   I don't have soup of my list, so soup doesn't matter here.   Remember a lot of things you may like now, you may not like later.   So stocking up on something, might just not work.   I drank broth before surgery, but just can't gag it down now.
Cleaning, oh yes, get it all done now.   I still find it hard to pick up things right off the floor, but do dishes and move laundry around.   Nothing too bad.   Good luck on your surgery.

Congratulation on your surgery.

I don't know if freezing would be such a good idea. I really didn't eat enough to really freeze anything. I would wait until you get home and see how it goes. It will be a while before you can eat soup

Good luck and come back often
