Actually it was moron Sunday - people seemed to be ambling around yesterday completely clueless. The grocery store was the worst, I was ready to start playing bumper carts.

I am eating breakfast right now, its an odd one.  Here is my food plan for the day.

B - half pita pocket filled with one serving smoked turkey and one serving hummus

S - yogurt- I finally found one I actually enjoy: honey lavendar plum... yum

L - myoplex RTD (42g protein)

D - noodless lasagna (use zucchini in place of noodles)

The brand is Rachel's - it has a black label. I try to eat yogurt now and again for the probiotics, but I never actually LIKE it. I do enjoy all of the Rachel's I've tried though. This one is my favorite, but there are a lot of interesting flavors. The mango pineapple tangerine (I think) one is also really good. They are a littler more pricey for yogurt, but if I eat them I'm ok with that.

You have all the great foods in Texas.  If it ain't yoplait - they don't have it around here.  Thanks for the name, I will be on the lookout.

Hi, I am Debbie, I am usually on the RNY forum, but found this one and thought I would give it a try.  Still new to this RNY.  Getting use to it and just starting more foods.  A bit skiddish about that.

B - Well it started out with low sugar instant oatmeal with protien powder............I dumped....I still feel really sick.  I guess I wont' do oatmeal again.  Yick.

L- I'm scared to try anything besides cottage cheese...so probally cottage cheese

D-will be my first try of Deli Meat.  I think I will try it.

Nothing really sounds good since surgery.  Although I do enjoy my SF Popsicles, wish I could live on those for now.  Is it normal to not want to eat?  Food just doesn't sound or look or smell good to me.  How soon before I will feel normal and get hunger again?

Hi Debbie! Its very normal not to want to eat and for me it was rather refreshing. I wished it could last longer but it only last a couple of months in my case. Some people are sooner, some later, some are hungry immediately and some find that they have to make themselves eat for the rest of their lives (if ONLY that were me!). For several months I mostly lived on milk, cheese, avocado, and peanut butter. Most everything was unappetizing, and although I'd try things I never actually wanted to eat. Then one day, poof, food was my friend/enemy all over again.
