I just wanted to introduce myself...I have been lurking for a little while....and thought I would finally get my profile together...but I am having trouble....how do I get my picture on the top of my profile????

I had my first appointment with my surgeon on Friday...and his office is getting the ball rolling for my surgery, so I am scared....and excited all at the same time.... can't wait to talk to you all!!

Well it will be here before you know it i was just in your spot and im having my surgery on October 7. What else do you have to do before you can have surgery? and what type of surgery?

I thank god im almost on the other side.

To get a picture on here click on "USER SETTINGS" in the little box up above here and to the left. It will tell you how to do it I think.

Start: 487 lbs (8/07) Lost 81 lbs pre op on South Beach. 406 lbs at surgery (6/08). 179 post op, by 2011. I lost 308 lbs. Gained 98 while pregnant (2012-13) lost all but 25. My goal is to be 179 again!
Two years after that.... photo c2781653-fea8-4141-8cac-f0889127d077.jpg I could not be happier.

Ok, I just checked and it is "USER SETTINGS" then click "browse" and click on the pic you want and then hit "upload" :)

Ya know I never noticed that! It must be something I selected in my "settings" I'm gonna go check that out and see if i can change it.

I had laproscopic RNY GB on June 3rd of this year. :)

16 pounds lost pre surgery

Well I am trying to have the RNY surgery....the surgeon has some other tests... they gave me a slip for blood work....i know there is some kind of test to look at my esophagus and lets see...a stress test, pulmonary test. He did mention a colonoscopy and endoscopy in the seminar...so I am not exactly sure...I know he would like me to lose as much weight now as I can before the procedure.

Thanks for the help with the picture....I look distorted.....but maybe that is how I look all of the time!!! heheheheheeheeh!!

Welcome to the boards! The time will seem like its taking forever to get everything done, but when you look back at it after surgery, you'll see that it just flew by!
