Anyone else have to start there preop diet soon

 I'm suppost to start my preop diet on Wednesday but i'm starting it today because i want to be a head of the game and i have 229 lbs to loss it not going to hurt me. I just would like to know any advice that anyone can give me would help out alot. I have my surgery on October 7 Thank god. And is there anyone else that is going throw this with me right now?

I have been preopdieting  since May.  I start my clear liquids on 10/4, I have my surgery 10/9.  Take it one day at a time.  Good luck!!

 Same to you only 2 days apart we can do it.

My surgery is the end of Nov and they ask you do a month of 1000 cal diet, I have made the choice to start the beginning of Oct. I have a long way to go and a few extra days will help. My prayers are with you. Karen

I start my preop diet on Wednesday also.  I do not have to do liquids, I have to follow the Atkins diet.  My operation is on Oct. 8th.  I have and echocardiagram and stress test on Wednesday also.  Good luck to you and hope all goes well.
