Mom Update

Dr came out and told us surgery went well, he removed a wedge of her stomach and the entire tumor. Then he looked at us and said that was the good news.

Both my brother and I were there and in shock. The DR thinks the cancer has spread to the lymph nodes and said if so she has less then a year.

She doesn't know yet

Oh, Jan! How horrible.

You and your Mom were often in my thoughts yesterday. What a blow after feeling encouraged. I'll keep you both in my prayers.

I am so sorry Jan.  My mom got a similar prognosis 6 and a half years ago.  I hope your mother does as well.  You are all in my prayers.  Loris
