I am on a quest for a pair of heels that

1. I like

2. Are moderately comfortable

3. Don't cost 8 million dollars

Unfortunately I am starting to think such a thing is impossible. Every pair of shoes I like the look of is in fact 8 billion dollars at least, and every pair of shoes that is moderately comfortable is ugly as can be.  I have not tried on any of the 8 billionty dollar shoes for comfort because I don't want to find out that they  are in fact like walking on clouds and then have to consider purchasing them and then selling a kidney.

Oh, I lost 2 lbs last night. Yay.

B - a little frozen manicotti meal thing

S - protein shake with mootopia

L - pita with turkey and hummus

D - bean and cheese enchiladas. avocado

S - protein shake with mootopia or a cup of yogurt.

Almost a vegetarian day. My pouch has been grouchy lately everytime I eat meat but I do so much better with not snacking if I eat some dense protien. I'm not sure what to do.

Try www.Zappos.com they have free return shipping if you don't like something. I've always had good luck with them.

We went to the Fair last night and it was HOT, crowded, and the food was way too expensive and nasty! I had 3 bites of the inside of a chicken and steak burrito, yucky. I also had a roaring headache so we didn't stay long.

Pre B - SF NF Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte

B - ham, cheese, triscuits

S - cottage cheese and Splenda peaches

L - Wonton soup, watermelon

S - ?

D - pork chop, unsweetened applesauce, and maybe some salad

About the shoes - Dilliards carries a brand Something Binni.  They are supposedly very comfortable and decently priced - more like 8 thousand instead of 8 million and they are ... Oh so Cute!

B - Protein Bar
L - Rotisserie Chicken and Yogurt

I love Zappos! I got several pairs of shoes from them at my highest weight, and they are still great shoes, now they are just toooooo big! I've looked there, and may get something from them but if I can find something locally where I can try on multiple sizes it might be easier, since my feet are now strangers to me :)

I've never been a very big fan of fairs.

I love going to the Fair, always have but of course I would eat my way through it before!  Normally we go every year during the week becasue it's not crowded but wow, yesterday was awful, of course the headache didn't help.

Good luck with the shoes, when is the weeding?

Its the second weekend of October I think. I am looking forward to upsate NY in October, should be pretty!

We are going to Six Flags this weekend (and I'm going to try my very first roller coaster). Before surgery all I'd be able to do there was eat.. I'm excited about other prospects. Fairs though, never liked, probably because my orchestra ensemble always played them, and my husband always had to work them when he was in radio.

I'm still shoe shopping in the wide comfortable dept, but on the issue of expense, I've seen that a pair of $150 Wolky's lasts a lot longer than cheaper brands. I don't know if this holds true for heels, though. Dillard's does seem to have a nice selection from what I saw on the website.

B - MF apple cinnamon oatmeal
