Calorie Countdown - Thrifty Thursday, what are you eating?

1. I like
2. Are moderately comfortable
3. Don't cost 8 million dollars
Unfortunately I am starting to think such a thing is impossible. Every pair of shoes I like the look of is in fact 8 billion dollars at least, and every pair of shoes that is moderately comfortable is ugly as can be. I have not tried on any of the 8 billionty dollar shoes for comfort because I don't want to find out that they are in fact like walking on clouds and then have to consider purchasing them and then selling a kidney.
Oh, I lost 2 lbs last night. Yay.

Almost a vegetarian day. My pouch has been grouchy lately everytime I eat meat but I do so much better with not snacking if I eat some dense protien. I'm not sure what to do.
We went to the Fair last night and it was HOT, crowded, and the food was way too expensive and nasty! I had 3 bites of the inside of a chicken and steak burrito, yucky. I also had a roaring headache so we didn't stay long.

I've never been a very big fan of fairs.

We are going to Six Flags this weekend (and I'm going to try my very first roller coaster). Before surgery all I'd be able to do there was eat.. I'm excited about other prospects. Fairs though, never liked, probably because my orchestra ensemble always played them, and my husband always had to work them when he was in radio.
I'm still shoe shopping in the wide comfortable dept, but on the issue of expense, I've seen that a pair of $150 Wolky's lasts a lot longer than cheaper brands. I don't know if this holds true for heels, though. Dillard's does seem to have a nice selection from what I saw on the website.
