Greatest weight loss in one day?

So I am 7 days post op. This morning I weighed myself and i had lost 8 pounds since yesterday. I waited a few minutes and reweighed and it was 7 pounds lost since yesterday.

I was 15 pounds down from the beginning of my two week pre-op diet at the time of surgery and 22 lbs as of yesterday morning

Does this sound normal??

What is the greatest amount of weight loss you have had in one day? How soon after surgery was it?

Being that close out from surgery it does sound normal to me. Your body can retain a lot of fluids that they pumped into you while in the hospital.
