Is everyone okay?

I just wanted to check in andmake sure everyone is okay.
We have never had winds like we got today...
I got out of my ford expedition and was reaching in to get my purse and it literally blew me back in my dh was laughing cause only my feet were sticking out the door..lol
We lost our pool and gazebo and trampoline,the steps to the pool were up the street.
But we feel lucky it can all be replaced,as my bro was driving to work a tree limb went thru the back window of his car.(he is ok)
The boys school is closed tomorrow are electric has been out since 1 today it was restored at 10 tonite some of our neighbors still have none..
Well hope you all are fine also..                                           

 The winds of Ike blew quite strong in South Louisiana. Unfortunately, he brought lots and lots of water and those that got away with wind damage only for the first storm are now flooded from Ike.  I am thankful I live north enough of the swamp lands to not have been flooded but it is only a matter of miles before there are people with several feet of water in their houses tonight.
