Calorie Countdown - Weekend edition.
on 9/13/08 2:00 am - San Antonio, TX
Well its sunny and lovely here today (if you like deathly heat and humidity). We haven't gotten any weather from the hurricane. I hope those of you in its path are doing well.
I am having a party today, where I was going to cook but we have to buy another guitar for Rock Band (50 bucks) so our friends are bringing food. Fried chicken, popeyes probably. I'll pull off the skin from a piece and eat some veggies and maybe a bit mashed potatoes because they sound divine. Other than that I've had a protein shake. I'll probably make something small for lunch knowing that I might overeat tonight.
B - protein shake with soy milk and a tiny bit of OJ
L - half quesadilla with cheese and green chili
D - chicken thigh, beans, corn, mashed taters (haha big plans)
Afternoon Everyone!!
Jenny, I am glad to hear you guys avoided any hurricane weather.
Since my surgery was postponed to October 9th (the suregon decided to extend his vacation at my expense ), I have decided (with suregon's approval) to do Medifast and not fall into any bad habits again and maybe lose somemore weight!
B- Shake
S- Blueberry Oatmeal
L- S'more Medifast Bar

Have a great day everyone!!!!!
Did you get the 50s or the 70s for your shakes? I started with the 50s but bumped up to the 70s. I also do 5-6 or even 7 of their meals instead of just 5 a day. My friend (who has lost over 150lbs) told me if I stay up late it is OK to have one every 3-4 hours, as that will keep your blood sugar up and keep you from snacking on carbs.
B - Blueberry oatmeal
S - Hot chocolate
S - Caramel bar
L - Chicken noodle soup
S - Strawberry shake
D - Egg beater omelette w/ ground turkey, onion, red pepper
S - Choc pudding
I couldn't tell you what the weather was here except for the 2 trips to walmart. I decided I wanted to finish my kitchen this weekend (we had new countertops put in about 8 weeks ago and there was a major gap between the old countertops and the new. My kitchen was red, so I had to prime it today and repair some holes in the sheetrock from the counter installation. We also demo'd the soffet (I think that's what it is called - it's dead space with a front to it). So, I've been painting since 10:30 today and just finished up at 5:15. I'm pooped and that was just the primer! I bought a soft neutral called popcorn, and so we'll paint the walls next weekend and the following we'll install the tile backsplash.
