Calorie Countdown - Hurricane-eve, what are you eating?
on 9/11/08 11:05 pm - San Antonio, TX
I am having a party tomorrow night so hopefully the weather will not interfere. If so, that's ok, I'll sleep.
Here's my Friday food plan -
B - half of a spinach tomato and provolone omelet sandwich
S - insides of other half of sandwich
L - myoplex RTD shake
S - half pita stuffed with hummus & turkey
D - chicken tenderloins with green chile and cheese melted on top, avocado and tomato on the side
What are you eating?
So there's this eatery here called Simply Delicious and their food is really good. They are only open until 3pm. Every Friday they have something called coca cola brisket. I've thought about getting it for a few weeks now. today I did it.
It was dry and stringy so I wound up eating the mac n cheese. It was homemade and really good. The serving was from a 9 X 12 pan and so it was about 2" thick and 2" wide and about 4" long. I ate a 2 X 2 piece of it and was stuffed. But the worst part about it is the gas that it gave me. It's really bad.
So, needless to say, I feel there will be a need for a protein shake tonight to supplement my lack of substantial protein at lunch
B - SBD meal replacement bar 19g protein
S - black plum
L - about 1 oz dried-out, stringy brisket and 2 X 2 piece of homemade mac and cheese
D - thinking about shrimp and grilled veggies
S - Unjury chocolate protein shake with PB2 powder in it.
My stomach is revolting over the mac and cheese. Not sure if it was the high fat, the macaroni or the cheese because I don't do very well with cheese.
S- SBL Cranberry Almond bar.
L- 2 ham and cheese roll ups with hot mustard.
D- went to Chili's; had a cup of chicken enchilada soup and the insides of 1 1/2 chicken tacos.
S- Venti Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte.
Praying for everyone in the path of the hurricane, hope it's not as bad as they think it will be!!
I'm watching streaming video of Ike on KHOU. This is precisely why I prefer living in earthquake zones == no advance warning whatsoever.
Here's what I ate today:
B: 2 EAS protein drinks
S1: 1 can protein pudding
L: 8 oz beef chili and 1 slice whole grain bread with things in it from yummy soup shop in Evergreen
S2: I can protein pudding
D: 8 oz split pea soup from yummy soup and 1 slice whole grain bread with things in it from the same shop
S3; two handfuls of assorted raw nuts (cashews and peanuts) from Sunflower Market
I feel nicely fed today! This soup shop's bread is flavorful and does not trigger carb binges. It's nice to have a slice of bread to dip into the outstanding soup, and it's nice to eat a slice of bread that does not make me go insane for more carbs.
