2nd WOW this week!

OK - I am super excited but also really frustrated by this WOW.

I have a mock interview scheduled with the career center early next week - and soon I will be starting real interviews with big corporations.  So, this morning I pulled out all of my business suits knowing that they would possibly be a little large, but not thinking much of it since there's nothing else that I own that I absolutely cannot wear (some of my clothes would look silly big, but not unwearable).  Well, I found unwearable clothes!!!!!!!  Every skirt/pants that I owned in career wear would not stay up!!!!  That's fantastic - I guess.  My frustration is - I have never worn any of these clothes before - they are way too dressy for my current career and these will be my first interviews.  There's probably over $500 worth of unworn, too big clothes in my closet.  Well, I am hoping that a tailor can fix them - at least for the meantime because I don't want to keep spending hundreds of dollars on suits as I go through this job search.

Call a local bridal shop and ask if any of the seamstresses do alterations on the side.  Then you can have them taken in and still use them!

14 pounds lost before surgery. My first ticker is when I hit onderland: this was my goal when I started on this journey.  I want to focus on that right now...once I get there I can reevaluate.

My second ticker is my dream goal. Even if I only visit there for a short time, it would be nice to see that number just once.  I am pretty sure I'll need plastics to hit this goal.

If a tailor can't fix them, consider putting them on consignment or selling them on ebay. I definitely understand where you are coming from. I put on my last pair of dress pants this morning and they are much too large, the crotch hangs to nearly my knees. I am still wearing them today, but this is it, they have to be retired, and I only bought them in May!

Hey, good for you!  And, ummm, bad for you!  I'm pretty sure I'm going to be going through the same thing, I plan on selling my clothes on ebay, some of them like yours are unworn with the tags still on them!

I think a tailor is a great idea, I don't know why that wouldn't work.

Congratulations on the weight loss!
