Calorie Countdown - Its Thursday, what are you eating?

Good morning all. I hope everyone is well. I'm ok, I decided to work from home today and concentrate on getting in more water because I had a charlie horse during the night, and those invariably mean I need either water or magnesium/potassium. I've been drinking about 1L of water and 2 protein shakes per day, and an odd cup of tea or three since school started back up. Its just not enough fluid, compared to the 100oz at least that I was getting over the summer.

Yesterday my boss kept saying "you look so tired, are you ok" "yes I'm tired but I'm fine" "are you sure, you look EXHAUSTED" - we had the same conversation basically 4 times. Oy! The ironic part is that I actually went to the trouble of putting on a little makeup and doing my hair yesterday and I never do that - and apparently shouldn't do that! I need to buy some under-eye concealer I guess.

What are you eating today? I REALLY REALLY want eggs benedict, but that's a billion calories I don't need and its so rich I'd probably get sick, but it sure sounds goooood. So far I haven't eaten but here's my plan

B - 1/2c cottage cheese, 1/2c blackberries, splenda if needed

S - protein shake with 10oz mootopia

L - leftover pot roast with some broth to moisten it back up

S - protein shake with 10oz mootopia

D - Japanese - probably some edamame and some miso soup, and I may try a little sushi, I haven't tried it since surgery and didn't like it before but maybe my tastes have changed

I do hope you are resting and maybe the extra water will help!   Not sure about the eggs benedict but the cottage cheese and blackberries sound yummy.   I had raspberries in my last week a couple times and YUMMO!

Thanks for your response and to everyone else who responded about the Atkins/South Beach Bars.

Here is what I had today (through lunch anyhow!) and hopefully what I am having for dinner.

Coffee....

B - Atkins Choc. Peanut Butter Advantage Bar

L - chicken breast, cottage cheese and pringles snax sticks

S - most likely the rest of the cottage cheese

D - Turkey burger w/sauteed veggies

S - cheese stick

Water water and more water my normal 6 bottles....(16.7oz)

Enjoy the rest of your day.

B - Premier protein bar - 3/4 of it...just can't fini****!

L - obligatory business meeting lunch.  Dry chicken, broccoli, red potatoes, salad & key lime pie.  I had 3 bites of the pie and put my napkin on top of it.

D - Hmmmm....that's a good question since I have to work out after work today.  May be having eggs tonight.

I really dreaded going in to the office today, but even though I'm still recovering data, it's going much better than yesterday.

B - MF oatmeal
S - MF dutch choc shake
L - MF oatmeal rasin bar
S - MF swiss mocha shake
D - left over pork chop, green beans, grilled onions
S - ML chocolate pudding

I'm also not getting enough water in lately, so I'll be trying harder on that today as well.

Well, last night I was a wreck and didn't eat the dinner I had planned. I begged hubby to take me out for pasta - the ever loving pasta I refuse to cook at home because it always makes me sick. He reminded me of these quite a bit, but gave in, even though he hates it! I had ravioli with meat sauce and some bread, didn't get sick, but only ate 3. Working on being good today and not letting the speed bumps in life get to me!

Pre B - SF NF Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte

B - Greek Yogurt with fresh blueberries

L -  3 Vietnamese Spring rolls - shrimp and veggies (these are not fried and oh so yummy)

S - cheese, and 3 crackers

D - pork chops, unsweetened applesauce, sliced tomato's

S - banana protein ice cream

Do you make your spring rolls or buy them? I used to make some very yummy ones from Yan Can Cook, but they were deep fried. I'd love a healthy version.
