Jan,

I'm so sorry this was bad news, but your Mom sounds like a fighter - just like you. And the good news is that it's been found and your Mom and her Doc are jumping right on taking the needed steps to figure out what to do. It's wonderful too that she will have you by her side tomorrow morning.

Add my prayers to those already coming her way.

Big warm hug,

Patty

I hope that your Mom will be OK  :)  I was diagnosed with stage II cancer and then when checked again it was not even to stage I and I was UN diagnosed.  Don't give up hope.  Sometimes things turn out better than Dr's expect.

Start: 487 lbs (8/07) Lost 81 lbs pre op on South Beach. 406 lbs at surgery (6/08). 179 post op, by 2011. I  lost 308 lbs. Gained 98 while pregnant (2012-13) lost all but 25. My goal is to be 179 again!

Jan,

I am so sorry for you and your mom. I will save a special prayer for you both. I am glad the docs are moving quickly to fight this obstacle.  Just one more hurdle for your mom to get over.

God bless you both,
Denise

Keep your prayers and good thoughts coming- they are working so far!

The Surgeon told us it might have been a blessing that she had the bleeding last week. This spot of cancer is small and stomach cancer is very hard to diagnose in the early stages.

He won't know how much stomach he'll have to remove until he gets inside, but he gave us hope for now. Surgery will be within the next two weeks on a Friday, his surgery day.

Thanks so much for everything! I sure do appreciate all of you!
