Jan, I know this is a blow but just reassure  her

I will have her added to our prayer list at church tonight and will keep her in my prayers as well.

What's her name?  Just first is fine.

Thanks Kathy that means the world to me!  Her name is Polly, I think the more prayer chains she's on the better.

I added her to our prayer list at prayer meeting tonight. We have an awesome praying church even if we are Southern  Baptist!

Jan, this is my 1st time on this forum.  I just want to offer you some strength.  My husband had gall bladder cancer an no one told him he was supposed to die according to the odds of survival...so...we beat it!  Nothing is until you make it.  None of the doctors he has seen since can believe it.  Less than 2% of gall bladder cancer victims survive and we are past the 5th year now.  All our prayers and stay strong!!

Thank you Carolyn!  Mom survived bladder cancer, so I know she can manage this.

Glad to hear your husband did well, it gives me hope.

I will keep you and your Mom in my prayers, be strong for your Mom!  At least you know now what she has to fight and what direction to take her treatment.  And of course she's a survivor!  She's a Mom!
