Another Wow for the board today
My YMCA chose to to a member spotlight on me this month. I am such a big ham and love this stuff! Exercise pays off!

You guys are way too flattering!
I used to run from the camera, but I secretly wanted to be the center of attention. I always have. Imagine, I wanted to be a CPA many years ago, but it really doesn't match my personality
My main goal is to motivate others to show them they can do it too. You know, my weight loss surgery didn't make it any easier for me to begin working out. I was 3 weeks post-op when I started. I just started slow and worked my way up. If you haven't started exercising yet, please start. Even just as small as walking to the mail box one day and then adding a few steps each day!
My back hurt, my legs hurt, hip flexors, feet, ankles and I had to hold on to the side bars on that first 15 minute walk. Now, I am about to start running. My, my, my, how things change.
Thanks kix for the inspiration to start the daily post on my surgeon's blog page!
