Calorie Countdown - Long Weekend edition

Hi all,
I hope our coastal people are doing OK today and wish you the best as you get stormy weathers.
I slept until noon (after being awake for a solid 24hrs). I needed it and feel human again. I plan to go to Lane Bryant today to spend my real woman dollars (I have to spend 100 but get 50 off when I do) and also to Avenue because they are having a sale. They are offering some jeans for $10! Score! Other than that, not much planned for the day. Just some relaxation and food.
I ate a lot of chocolate yesterday and last night (probably about 10 pieces over the course of 6 hours). I am not going to look at what a serving is or how many calories it was. Denial is my friend. BUT today I'm going to go light on quanitiy to make up for it.
B - eggs and cheese, tomato and bell pepper
S - protein shake (going to to try a cookies n cream sample - I have like 40 samples at the moment)
L - cottage cheese and blackberries
S - protein shake (strawberry)
D - lemon tea chicken with zucchini and tomato
S - grapes or watermelon

So if you are going shopping, it sounds like your paper is done. Awesome! Now you can enjoy the weekend. 10 pieces of chocolate over 6 hours is probably much better than you may have done before, right? And good plan rewarding yourself with much needed new clothes instead of food. Way to go!
I've reconsidered my blizzard/hurricane comparison from yesterday. How much more distressing to have to leave your home. In a blizzard you just hunker down, keep warm and then dig out. Prayers going out to those of you impacted by this storm.
I did want to eat again last night. DH and I are drifting to different sleep schedules, and I'm ending up staying up later after he goes to bed at 10 pm. Last night I should not have been hungry. I was ravenous when I got home from the pool last night. DH's blood sugar was low and he did not feel like grilling nor did I. We ended up with Mickey Dee's. I had a ranch salad with grilled chicken, no dressing PLUS 2 burger patties. The guys at McDs were great - I got the 2 patties in a small salad container with no condiments or bun - I did say I was ravenous, right?
After DH & SS (stepson) went to bed, I was on the prowl for more. I did stay out of the carbs for the most part - I had 2 chocolate protein bars and lots of Crystal Lite. I think I need to go to bed earlier, but it is so nice having the house to myself.

I'm not QUITE done, but getting close. When I write I like to put it away for a day and then re-read it once its been out of my mind. I need to do that, and am waiting for comments from my boss and our collaborator, so before I submit it I may have a few changes to make, BUT its a complete manuscript at this point yes. Thank goodness!!! I am fortunate that the girl who did all of the work is very competant and already had a lot of it written up, like the methods and introduction, so I mostly just had to do the figures, get it all in the correct format, etc., but much less re-write than expected. Usually I end up re-writing most of the things that the people I supervise produce, but I was very pleased to see that wasn't that case so much this time. Yay for smart competent co-workers!
Had my RMR tested today and it's 1,680-- so it's official-- today is my last day at 1000 calories-- I am probably screwing up my metabolism for life by eating that-- and I will bump up to 1100! Know what that means--- MORE PEANUT BUTTER!

B - dessert protein shake (flavor - cinnamon roll, actually yummo) with mootopia and ice
L - grilled chicken salad (I ate all the entire chicken breast wow, and a few bites of salad)
D - 1/2 bean burrito, 1 taco fresco from taco bell
We spent the day with friends and bad food choices. I also had 3 donut gems and a handful of tortilla chips.
I did walk a lot though, a lot. Probably 5 miles on the day.
