Calorie Countdown - Tired Thursday

Yesterday ranks up there with the 10 worst days of my life. Among my top ten we're talking about 2 code blues after my heart cath, emergency surgery for a twisted bowel/2 hernias, surgery for a broken arm, chicken pox right before high school graduation, AND spraining my ankle severely on the morning of my 21st birthday. So, although there was little associated physical pain yesterday, let's just say it was a doozy. Sometime I'll tell you about it.

I am quite sore today, I think from being permanently tense yesterday. I feel like I overdid it at the gym and I didn't even go to the gym! I am about to go back to school, a.k.a. hell, but I thought I'd post this first.

B - protein shake - banana dessert protein, 16oz mootopia (300cal, 40g protein)

L - chicken and bean soup, 1 made from scratch cheese muffin (the muffin has 10g protein, 200cal - I'd estimate the bean soup at another 10g, and probably 150cal, but I didn't do the calculation on that one)

S - espresso protein shake - click protein, 16oz mootopia (approx 300cal 38g protein)

D - maybe an ounce of husband's steak, corn/jalepeno/ff cream cheese casserole (no idea on nutritional values)

S - blackberries and vanilla yogurt

If I ever get things back under control in my life, I need to do a couple of days of calorie tracking again. I like to do a few every month just to see where I am at. I haven't done it in well over a month though.

Sorry your day was terrible.  When I graduated college the first time, I just felt in my heart of hearts I would never go back - I HATE school.  Well, accidentially I ended up in graduate school and when I graduated from there I knew I would NEVER go back.  I admire individuals who can take it all the way - I am SOOOOOO NOT one of these people!

B - 3/4 nectarine
L - 2 boiled egg whites and yogurt

Fluid push for the rest of the day!

Sounds like you need a massage to get that tension out of your body!  Does the athletic department have someone that can do massages.  Here, an hour is $35 and a 1/2 hour is like $25 which is sooo cheap!

Just a thought.
