Monday Weigh-In
I am too excited about the fact that my scale moved this week (stalls suck!), so I had to start the weigh-in topic for this week. Basically I guess I am filling in for Kathy, who was filling in for Kellie, who was filling in for Marge. Wow - that is a whole lot of filling in - whew!

It was nice to see the scale move, even if it meant my surgeon was right. The protein shakes and a few more calories do seem to make a difference for me. I'm getting used to making them part of my day like vitamins, but I'm not sure how its going to work with school. I guess one will be before I leave and one when I get home. I only like them from the blender with ice. Otherwise I can't drink them.
I am really really really crossing my fingers to see the 250s this week!

Yeah, I'm having the same problem with shakes - I like mine icy and blended too.
I'm tempted to get a 2nd Magic Bullet for work, but then I'll either have to make my own ice in the workroom fridge or else trek down to the Cafe for their ice. Either way, it beats a shake made with water cooler water only.
Do you have an office or lab where you could do the same?

I do have an office/lab but the tiny fridge doesn't have a freezer for ice and I don't really want to get a second blender either.
I had a magic bullet - it broke in two weeks!

Well, the scale and I have not been getting along lately so I haven't been posting on this thread. I vowed that I would put my scale away for a LONG time once I got below 400 lbs. I thought that this should have happened quite some time ago, but TODAY was the day that it finally happened. No matter how long it took, I am very happy to say goodbye to the 400s.
BW- 465
SW - 430
LW and last couple weeks - hovering between 401-405.
TW - 399
Total loss: 66 pounds in 13.5 weeks. I guess I can't complain about an average weight loss of almost 5 pounds per week.
So, scale is officially being put away and I will only weigh myself on the anniversary of my surgery for my journal. No more torture for me.
