It's opening day of the Democratic Convention here in Denver!  I plan to spend the day wandering downtown and checking everything out.  Of course, I can't get into the actual convention, but I'm pretty sure there's enough stuff happening outside that may just be more interesting than what's going on at the Pepsi Center.

I'll be at Union Station when Brian Williams does his broadcast at 11 AM.  I don't have anything clever to wear, so I'll just be a face in the crowd.  Even so, I'm pretty stoked!

I'll take pictures of anything interesting/unusual/hawt and post them online.

I imagine I will get in lots of walking as I go from venue to venue (not only that, I'm hitching a ride into town with my sister, so I'll need to keep busy most of the day unless I want to walk home).

What did you do to move your body today?

Wooohoo Kix, sounds like you've got a grand day planned with lots of good exercise thrown in too boot!

I did my usual 30 mins on the elliptical this morning..... I was kind of sad to see the Olympics end because they've at least been something different to watch on TV while I'm feeling the burn.... LOL  Now it's back to infomercials and/or ABC World News Now....

I have nothing to report on exercise, but last night I was watching a news report on all the different organizations planning protests of the convention.  I might be inspired to walk if I had something that interesting to check out.  Can you tell I am a bit jealous?

15 minutes on elliptical and 35 minutes upper body strength training.

On Sat, I went to UWF (my new school) and checked out their gym.  Oh wow!  It is top of the line.  I did 30 minutes on the elliptical and then 1.5 hours on upper body strength training.  The machines worked my muscles in such a different way.  It was great!
