I spoke to Mom this morning and she said she could actually tell me she's starting to feel better. They gave her 2 units of blood and it brought her counts back up to 10. They stopped her blood thinners on Sunday and when her blood thickens up they will do some exploratory stuff to find out exactly where the bleeding is coming from and the cause.
They don't seen to think now that is a drug interaction, but they aren't able to convince me of that yet. We went through this 18 months ago and almost lost her. They had to give her 8 units of blood and said it was caused by an allergic reaction to a drug they were giving her to treat pneumonia. She was in the hospital 18 days then.

Another update - Her blood levels are holding steady at 10.9. She is scheduled for scopes (both upper and lower) tomorrow morning at 9:30, so of course I'll be there to hear what the DR has to say.
He did tell her if all goes well it's possible she could come home on Thursday.
