Moose from Noggin. (I have an 18 month old daughter). Little known fact: I met my husband on the internet. He lived in Elwood IL and I lived in Columbus. We flew back and forth on weekends for 3 months and ten got married and we have been married for 13 years!! I knew he was the one the first time I heard his voice on the phone.

Where are you in your WLS journey: 8 months out from RNY; have lost 140 lbs.
Where we you born: North Platte, Nebraska; home of Buffalo Bill Cody and the site of the largest switch yards in the nation (at one time the world!) Union Pacific Railroad Bailey Yards.
Most interesting place you've ever lived: North Platte, Nebraska; once known as "Little Chicago" for being a hideout for Chicago gangsters when things got too hot in Chicago back in the 20's, 30's, etc. Also famous for the Canteen during WWII - volunteers would meet EVERY single train carrying troops to war with food, birthday cakes, gifts and well wishes and they did this for years. Interesting little Peyton Place kind of place - but I think you have to had to live there to really understand, but it makes for great stories!

Little known fact: My ringtone on my cell phone is "I Kissed A Girl" (its a popular song right now, sung by a girl - "I kissed a girl and I liked it...(then something about the taste of her cherry chapstick) I kissed a girl and I liked it, I hope my boyfriend doesn't mind it..." I love it when it goes off and the people around me are all freaked out about it when they know I'm very married and have a little girl and I look at them and say "So what if I did?!" P.S. I live in ULTRA-conservative El Paso county in Colorado - Colorado Springs!
