I'm taking my friend who got me on Medifast to the pool today. She's been stuck at about -140 for a month. Based on whet I read here, I recommended that she up her water, sleep and exercise. Now I get to show-and-tell abou****er play.

So I'll probably do some laps, water aerobics and water walking.

I'm there with you, Kix.  I'm changing up my exercise for the start of school (working out like a dog all summer didn't get the scale to move...but I've got these muscles holding up my dragonwings...)

M-W-F are now 30  minutes (to start) on the bike.  Ouchie!!!!  Different set of muscles and I'm sweating like a pig!
T-R-S are strength training (abs and arms).
Sunday is laying on the couch whining day.

Since today was Wednesday, the bike and I bonded......

Yes, when I hold up my arms in the Popeye pose, Hoppy and Bob (my upper arms) have all sorts of pretty definition... and then about a mile of hanging skin (almost looks like a window covering).

Keep up the good work!

I knew I wasn't going to make it to Curves today so I challenged myself at 8am to see how much further I could walk briskly. The morning air was perfect and inspired me to DOUBLE my usual 1.5 mile walk!  WOoohoooooooooooooooo Thats an absolute first for me!  Jeanine

Had to go after work again tonight.  Someone has sabotaged my alarm!  It was turned down and that's been the problem for the past two days.  But I would have made it to the gym this morning but I was selling some old books on craiglist and forgot to bring them with me!!!

I hate working out in the afternoon!

Today 20 minutes on elliptical
30 minutes of a quick, quick, quick upper body workout.  I added bicep curls to the workout today and my shoulders are really tired.  It's amazing how your muscles all work together to accomplish a task!

Kix, you are so in tune with your body and it's needs.  I hope I am  that observant when I am at your length out of surgery.

Kathy, not sure I'm in tune with my body so much, it's more of a fear that I'm a sandwich away from being circus fat again.  It scares me how easy it is to eat when I'm not hungry, so I have to stay aware of that, as well as stay away from those evil, wonderful carbs.  I've been through too much to improve my health to screw it up again, hence the watchdog attitude.  My sister failed with her WLS and I refuse to go down that path.

I had an alarm that I loved, but I always slept through it.  Turned out it rang for about five seconds and then shut off.  Who in the heck wakes up that quick?

I walked four miles in my neighborhood today, which means up and down hills.  I took the neighbor's cattle dog with me and wore her out.  Wore me out, too.  I'm exhausted.  It was good exercise, though, and I burned 520 calories according to my pedometer.

I also bruised my toenail, darn it.  Must have been the downhill walking, it felt like something was pressing on my roast beef toe.

Wow, I'm slow today. For a minute I was confused as to why you had roast beef in you shoe - to keep the dog following you? Then I remembered the piggies. LOL.
