Ah, I miss the early post-op days when the weight just fell off.  Now I have to work like an Olympic athlete to get the scale to shift.  Oy!

My plan is walking, lots of walking.

What did you do to move your body today?

I got called at 2:00 AM, got up and fixed the problem and then went on into work... so I had some extra time this morning and I put it to use since I slacked off yesterday LOL

30 mins elliptical
30 mins weight training

Probably walking for me today.  I need to leave work early to meet with my financial planner, so don't feel like I can also spend an hour in the gym at lunch.  But the weather is supposed to be nice -- sunny and upper 70s -- so I have my stuff in the car and plan to walk when I'm done crunching numbers!

Remember "carbs suck"...

Carbs suck. suck, suck, suck, suck, yum (oops!  Bad Kix!), suck, suck, suck.

Very few carbs for me today, I had so much protein my kidneys are going to file a formal protest.

My sister has a financial planner who seems to be quite adept at losing her money!    Hope yours is smarter!

The Office of Kidney Maintenance and Health has officially received a request from Kix's kidneys to stop eating 300 grams of protein per day (LOL).  Perhaps cutting back to 150 grams would be better tolerated...

I like my financial planner, but I hate what's happened in the financial markets in 2008.  Ugh.  Glad I have 20+ years before retirement...

I am going to the gym in a little while, and I'm going to attempt the elliptical again. I'll do 30min treadmill, as much elliptical as I can manage (5 min probably) and upper-body strength training. I went to the gym twice yesterday (half hour on treadmill in the evening cause hubby wanted to go). I'm going to try to keep up the momentum. We shall see. I also got super dizzy numerous times all afternoon and kept checking blood pressure and sugar to explain it. Pressure was 110/75, perfecto, and sugar was in the 70s and 80s, so I'm not sure what the deal is.

I get dizzy sometimes when I'm not properly hydrated.  Could it be the reason?  I also get dizzy sometimes if I get up too quickly.

It was spinning class day today - he worked us hard! Which is good because I just realized that I am doing a 100 miles in one day ride labor day weekend and that is only a week and a half away! I am so going to die.

I'm also riding tonight to my weigh****chers meeting, which will be about 15 miles round trip. I'm just going to keep riding, riding and riding some more.

Have fun walking

100 miles in one day?  I'll wave as you zoom past my house!

I saw a mean looking dude the other day waiting in front of the Weight   Watchers office in Lakewood.  My sister and I were going into a used book shop and I asked her, "He looks mad and hungry.  Think he's waiting for a meeting?"  (The office wasn't open yet).  She didn't think so.  When we came out a few minutes later, the office was open and the dude was inside.

I'd have more fun walking if my feet would quit giving me grief.  My sister suggested going to Timberland for proper footwear.
