(Posting this late Tuesday)

I walked briskly for three miles today and enjoyed 2 miles of the walk.  My shoes suddenly decided to start hurting my feet like crazy, so I was practically limping the last mile back to the car.  Owowowow!

My feet don't have actual blisters, but they feel like they want to have blisters, so I'm not doing any recreational walking on Wednesday.  Maybe I'll pull out my Sit and Tone DVDs and exercise at home, or perhaps I'll go to aquacise.

My Brooks shoes arrived today and they are too small.  I guess they run smaller than Propets.  Rather than keep doing this by mail, I think I'll go to a sports shoe store and get fitted by someone who knows what they are doing.

Did I mention my feet hurt?

What did you do to move your body today, and I hope it didn't result in blisters or sore feet!

Good Morning Kix!

I hear you on the feet hurting thing, it sucks big time! LOL   I have some residual neuropathy in my right foot and I have a tendency to lean all my weight on that side of my foot when I'm on the elliptical..... So every few minutes it starts hurting again and I have to remember to stand up straighter and then it eases up and then I forget and it starts all over again..... LOL

I did 30 mins on the elliptical while watching the women's gymnastics team competition.....  I don't ever remember being that lithe and limber.... LOL

I can totally relate to the sore feet and blister issues - a couple weeks ago I wanted to walk at lunch, but the only shoes in my trunk was a pair of Teva sandals.  They felt great for the first 20 minutes or so, but by the time I was done I had a huge blister on the pinky toe on my right foot - ouch, ouch, ouch!!!

Getting fitted for shoes is a great idea - I did that a while ago and was amazed at just how much more comfortable a properly fitted shoe was to wear.  Worth the time and effort in my opinion.

I'm having lunch with a friend, so no mid-day workout for me.  I'll go to the gym after work and lift weights for 30-40 minutes, then do 20-30 minutes of cardio if I have the energy left after weight lifting.  I had two great workouts yesterday and am hoping for another one today!!!

Kix, you take care of those feet!  I wore new shoes a few weeks ago (heels) and they were so cute and pretty comfortable, however when I took them off, both of my toes were barking at me.  So I haven't put them on again since then, but my feet/ankles were swollen as well.

Good workout today...25 minutes on elliptical on Mt. Kilamanjaro again and 40 minutes of upper body workout. I added bicep curls to my workout today and me thinks I'm going to be sore tomorrow.

Hope everyone has as good a workout as I had today.  I feel strong again!

FINALLY!!!  The weather was on my side and I got the water aerobics in today.  The water was cold and imagine this - there was a cool breeze in South Louisiana.  So, on top of the exercise I got from the aerobics I burned some calories with the tremors I was experiencing while in the pool.  Every little bit helps!
