Gym is Open (Twisting Tuesday) 8/12

When we are moving our bodies to burn those evil calories that make us fat, take care not to TWIST any body parts into unnatural positions and thus causing great pain and suffering!

Having said that, the gym is open.  What did you do to move your body today?

Hey no twisting here, I'm not into yoga yet.... LOL Actually, I'd like to get into it, but there's just not any classes around me at 3:00 AM and I just never find the time in the afternoon.... oh well, that's why I'm in the office gym by myself at that unGodly hour.... LOL

I did 30 mins weight training and 15 mins on the elliptical just to get my heart rate up.....

I'm working on incorporating exercise into my life!  Thanks Kix for reminding me of the importance of it.  My goal for this week is to go for a walk at least 5 days.  I found a circuit that's about .8 miles by my house - walked it yesterday and it's just about right for me (able to walk it, but very tired by the time I'm done).

So, I will walk this again this evening after work.  I'll come home, get dinner started, have DH mind dinner while I walk.

If the weather gods stay in my corner, I will swim today.  However, they must not be happy with me because it has been raining everyday since Christmas - or so it seems!

Right before my WLS I bought a recumbant bike thinking that would be great post-op exercise.  Of course, I completely forgot about it in my progression of other activities.  Well, it's been rediscovered.

20 minutes of "rolling hills"---(rolling hills my azz---Everest climb would be more appropriate.
20 minutes of abs
10 minutes pilates stretch
