Gym is Open (Frolicing Friday) 8/8

Today's date is quite auspicious in Asian cultures.  The number 8 is considered the luckiest of all numbers.

So, let's act on this lucky day and frolic to the gym, to work, or wherever you go today in order to burn those unecessary calories!

I hope my arch stops hurting soon, I had to quit doing stair climber and I kind of miss it even though I was only up to six minutes on level 1. 

Today is my full workout at the gym (treadmill and full body strength training).  If my foot isn't aching by the time I'm done, I will walk the dogs and try to get in some supplemental walking.

I'm working from home again this morning so I got up and took the little dog for a walk before the heat set in..... it was still awfully muggy, but not a drop of rain in sight....

I hope your arch doesn't force you to stop doing the tread climber altogether..... I have some neuropathy in my right foot that bothers me sometimes when I'm on the elliptical, but so far it hasn't stopped me.... I've just learned to live with it....

I been off my normal workout routine for about 3 weeks now.  Although I've made it to the gym intermittently and walked quite a bit, I have gotten away from my 2-a-day habit.  And I can already tell that my leg muscles aren't as strong as they were a month ago!!!  Totally unacceptable, so I'm going to push myself to get back into that 2-a-day routine. 

For today, that means upper body strength training and core work at lunch.  Then I'll go back to the gym after work for 45-60 minutes of cardio (will do as much as my body has to give at that point). 

I'm committed to getting back to the 2-a-day habit until I have plastic surgery; I want to make sure I'm as healthy as I can possibly be when I go under the knife!!!

It's a walking, waking, walking day!  Doning my usual bathroom walks, adding 5 times around the hallway each time I go. Then tonight we're off to walk all around at the Farmers Market.

I'm so excited we're going swimming on Sunday! You don't know how thrilled I am, I haven't been in the pool in so long. First it was too cold, then I had surgery, finally it's time! We're going to the In-Laws on Sunday to BBQ, Swim, and then they want me to make them ice cream.
