My husband bought me a necklace to commemorate 100lbs. For 200lbs its going to be something BIG but I haven't decided what yet.

100 lbs. will be a diamond pendant - not sure if it will be a star or circle (I'm thinking star right now).  200 lbs. will be a pearl necklace - pearl is the birthstone for my surgery month.

Guess I have those planned ahead. It seems like I'm so far away yet though.  I'll get there.

Congrats on being so close!  It's fantastic that you're losing so fast!

I bought a necklace w/ an Om charm (Hindu symbol) and three purple crystals to celebrate losing 100 pounds.  I'm contemplating getting an Om tattoo after I'm done with plastic surgery, to commemorate my journey -

Om is a is a sacred syllable representing Braham, and represents both the unmanifest (nirguna) and manifest (saguna) aspects of God.   It encompasses the past, the present, and the future, and all that exists beyond the three forms of time is also implied in it.  Here's a link to a website that has more information about the Om.

One other thing I might consider as a tattoo is the Chinese symbol for transformation, since that's what I've done...

I bought a white gold poodle shaped pendant and said it was from my dog.  It cost about a hundred dollars and I wear and alternate it on an existing white gold chain like I do with each of my white gold pendants.  (My had recently bought me a lovely necklace.)

I figure 200 pounds lost is good for a sports car or three.  LOL

I bought myself a plane ticket for a weekend trip to spend time with some of my bestest friends!!!  It was the first time I had flown in about 8 years!

I was thinking of gettting my nose pierced but I am scared of the pain LOL.  So if I dont go though with that, I am not sure what kind of celebration I will have.

When I lost 100 pounds I celebrated by having gallbladder surgery! I also booked a vacation to Ireland, and by the time we went 5 months later I'd lost 150 pounds.

When I had my first surgiversary my husband surprised me with a beautiful diamond pendant, something I've always wanted. It was like a birthday, my Mom sent flowers to work too.
