Calorie Countdown - Moaning Monday, what are you eating?

I am really sore from cleaning yesterday.  Really really surprisingly sore. Granted it was some heavy duty cleaning, but geez! I am also moaning because I have a meeting with my boss today that I am so not looking forward to. Finally I am moaning because its 6:30 in the morning and I want to go back to bed!!!

A friend of ours is coming into town today and coming over tonight. We will have Thai with her, and probably ice cream (well, I'll have nsa, lactose free gelato most likely but they will have ice cream). Other than that I'm not sure what I'll eat. Probably milk or a latte for breakfast, and some roast beef and cheese for lunch. Summer rolls and chicken soup for dinner (tom yum soup yum!). Some ice cream-ish concoction for dessert.

Good morning, Jen, and welcome to MOnday.  Enjoy the Thai food - yum.  Here's my plan for the day:

Breakfast:  1 c. 1% milk in my coffee, 1 packet Quaker Weight Control oatmeal

Snack #1:  1 c. lowfat cottage cheese, 4 tbsp. SF preserves, 2 oz. blueberries, 2 oz. strawberries

Snack #2:  medium banana

[workout #1:  strength training, core work]

Lunch:  Lean Cuisine rosemary chicken

Snack #3:  1 slice whole-grain bread, 3 slices smoked turkey, 1 slice low-fat cheese

Snack #4:  6 oz. light yogurt, 1/4 c. Kashi granola

Snack #5:  going to happy hour after work to celebrate w/ the co-workers in my old practice group; will have a couple Mike's Light hard lemonades or a couple light beers

Dinner:  unknown - maybe part of a quesadilla at happy hour, or a Lean Cuisine when I get home

Snack #6:  planning to skip bedtime snack since I'm "spending" calories on alcohol at happy hour

Another week is here - how quickly the weekends pass.  Jenn, I wish I could get the energy to deep clean like you did - sorry to hear that you're sore though.  Have fun with your friend - it sounds like a nice time.

Today's meal plans:
B- String cheese
L- Lean Cuisine something
D- steak and green beans (had pork chop instead yesterday and that didn't stay down).

Gotta work on getting in enough water and not skipping any meds or vitamins today!

We ate at Crown Burger yesterday and I had a pastrami burger and onion rings (ate part of it at the drive-in and the other part at home).  This triggered extra eating that I am trying to curb (I think it was the onion rings), so next time I need to get something safer like a BLT.

Today will be all protein and a few carbs.  We have steaks thawed for dinner, so we'll grill those.  We were supposed to eat them for dinner yesterday, but we were both too full from lunch.  Breakfast and lunch will be protein drinks.

I'll post the totals later.
