Newbie Intro

Hi Everyone!

My name is Heather I am 33yr old, married with one son from Central PA.  I will be having my surgery at Magee Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA with Dr George Eid.  All of my preop testing is done and my paperwork has been submitted to the insurance company.  My fingers are crossed for surgery date soon!!  My BMI is still 65   and since starting this journey I have lost 25lbs - I would like to loose somemore before surgery.  Just wanted to drop by and introduce myself!

Welcome! I"m not much more than a newbie myself.  This fourm is great. Lots of support and great inspiration for us Over 50 BMI'ers!

Welcome!  I can't wait to hear that you got a surgery date.  This is a very supportive group of people on this forum - I hope that you find the support that you need here.

Welcome Heather! I'm originally from central PA myself - Centre County. How's the humidity this summer?

We have had a cooler summer than usual - we have only had about a week of extreme humidity.

I am new too. I am 3 weeks post op and am on my way to being the slender,healthier person I can be.
