10 months wow!!
Tommi,
Wow, losing 162# is great!!!! I bet your doing so much more now. Keep up the good work. I also love the BMI over 50, I feel like I can relate to these people so much better. I think we better understand the struggles that each of us had had to go thru.
I can't wait to hear when you make in into twoterville!!! You will be there soon!!!
Congrats again
Caroline

I just want to add that I feel the same way you all do. I started out at 442lbs. Being 300 (what I weighed in college) would be a welcomed relief and huge milestone for me.
My mom was telling me about one of her teacher-friends who is having RNY and is 290-something. I literally thought to myself, "hmph! What I would give to be 293!!" Sad, but true. I know everyone's weight affects them differently, so no pun intended for my mom's friend (or anyone else), but it's nice to hear others say the same thing.
And I'm the same way - I remember being around 400lbs in 2002, and those last lbs really made my life horrible and impossible to deal with. I never gave up. I shopped with my nieces, traveled, went to cheerleading competitions, ect... but never without pain, humiliation and distress.
