Lane Bryant shopping and bonus bucks

Lane Bryant is doing their special that you get $25 bonus bucks for every $50 you spend.  It's redeemable end of August for about 2 weeks.  It's a pretty good deal if you have the dough to spend.

I went last night and was measured again for the right fit pants.  Dawn, i agree, they are long and I'm 5'7"!  In Feb I was a size six in the blue color.  Now I'm a size 3!  I love WLS!  They still gap in the back at the waist.  I walked out with the pants on and asked the two sales clerks if they were supposed to gap like that and the one clerk said, "you just have such a small waist."  WAIT, are you talking about me?  The words small waist have never been said with respect to me ever in my life.  Craked me up!

I'm probably doomed to tailoring for the rest of my life if my bottom half doesn't start catching up with my top half.  And speaking of my top half, I bought a 14/16 button up blouse last night.  I've been in 14/16 t-shirts for about a month, but not the button ups. Get a picture...14/16 top, size 20 bottoms.  I'm a little bottom-heavy.

So, if you've got some extra dough laying around, go get some bonus bucks!

14/16 top!!!!!!  Wooooo hoooooooooo!!!!!  And down 3 sizes since Feb.  Too awesome.

My waist will never know what it feels like to not be pinched into a pair of pants, unless of course the pants are so big that they slide down my hips.  My waist is big in proportion to my hips with "normal" (does that really apply?) size thighs and smallish boobs.   I don't think there is a word to describe my body shape. lol

I did get those bonus bucks, now I just  have to remember to go back and shop.  I suppose I could enter it into Outlook, like I do with everything else for my senile brain :)

Great job Kathy!

Dawn, they have other size types too, you sound like the exact opposite of my shape.

Kathy - thanks for posting about this, i was just at LB on monday to buy clothes to wear to a funeral (major, major sigh), i'm now a 4 (petitie), i've always bought long I guess to stuff the tummy in there!  I'm now wearing a 18/20 on top and the 4's are kinda big, but didn't want to wear too tight clothes to the church service.  Keep up the good work! you look great! lys

I love those Right Fit pants.  I'm built oddly enough, but since WLS I've lost weight everywhere but my thigantors.  Without the Right Fit pants, I'd be wearing clown pants with suspenders to hold them up.  Even so, my Right Fit pants are loose in the waist since I bought them a few months ago.  I have to use a big azz safety pin now.  The last bunch of Right Fit pants I bought were (I think) a 3P blue, which works out beautifully for my basset hound legs.  Lucky me, I'm all torso.

I'm in a 16/18 blouse now, but still wear a 22 pant due to my thighs (and a big azz safety pin in the waist).  If my thighs would cooperate, I'd probably be in an 18 pant because my waist is smaller. Smaller!  Cracks me up, too.

I'm still paying off LB from their last darn bonus bucks sale, but I have a feeling I'll find myself gravitating over there this weekend.

Woohoo, congrats on the smaller size pants!!

My "right fit" capris are THE BEST, most comfortable I've ever worn!! I love them!

I'm going to have to check out the bonus bucks sale... thanks for the heads up!
