I tried something new today...the rowing machine. It took some getting used to the coordination, but I liked the change of pace. My legs, shoulders and trys were screaming at me. Did that for 15 minutes then 40 minutes of lower body strength training.

I would have enjoyed trudging with you and your friend, sounds like a nice workout and a nice change of pace.
I trudged to the gym today even though I feel worn to the bone. I did 10 minutes of fat burning program on the treadmill, hit a mental wall that I couldn't break through, so I quit treadmill and did 5 minutes of fat burning on the stair climber! The stair climber is fun, but after 5 minutes I was definitely done with it for the day. I'll definitely try it again. I also tried the stationary bike but my darn knees just will not bend so I can't do it.
The dogs are not getting a walk today, it is too darned hot outside. I swear, this weather feels like Sacramento in the summer. Who ordered this nonstop heat here in the mountains, anyway?
