I "trudged" on the elliptical for 30 mins... and let me tell you after taking yesterday off it was really hard to get myself motivated this morning..... LOL

Must be atmospheric non-motivation---I really want to crawl into the chair with a book and an iced tea....but

power walked 20 minutes
circuit training 20 minutes
abs 10 minutes
I'm skipping the damn pilates today--my behind is hurting and so is my knee--non-strenuous-HAH!

Warning possible TMI -

I was going to walk on the treadmill this morning but after going to the bathroom I had slight bloody discharge (haven't had that in 2 weeks) figured I might be overdoing things a bit. I go back to the DR on Monday so I think I'll take it easy until then.

Getting back to strength training is really killing me!  I am sore everywhere and really feel overall crappy.  I can't wait for it to go. Today is day 3 of upper body soreness and day 2 of lower.  I think the lower body is worse than the upper.  I don't even want to go all the way down to sit on anything.  It's almost better to hover over the chair! 

I tried something new today...the rowing machine.  It took some getting used to the coordination, but I liked the change of pace.  My legs, shoulders and trys were screaming at me.  Did that for 15 minutes then 40 minutes of lower body strength training.

I trudged outdoors at lunch time with a friend; we met at local park and walked for about 40 minutes.  Neither of us had been to this particular park before and we learned that the walking trail goes uphill for about 10 minutes straight!  We worked up a good sweat, but it was great to be outdoors instead of inside at the gym.  I think I acquired a few more freckles in the process (I'm fair-skinned and I tend to get freckles instead of a tan!!!).

I would have enjoyed trudging with you and your friend, sounds like a nice workout and a nice change of pace.

I trudged to the gym today even though I feel worn to the bone.  I did 10 minutes of fat burning program on the treadmill, hit a mental wall that I couldn't break through, so I quit treadmill and did 5 minutes of fat burning on the stair climber!  The stair climber is fun, but after 5 minutes I was definitely done with it for the day.  I'll definitely try it again.  I also tried the stationary bike but my darn knees just will not bend so I can't do it.

The dogs are not getting a walk today, it is too darned hot outside.  I swear, this weather feels like Sacramento in the summer.  Who ordered this nonstop heat here in the mountains, anyway?
